Jen took all the many words and ideas that we have shared and put them together to create a mission statement for Voice Found. I am so thankful to have her as my partner in this venture. We are a really good team with both of us passionate about this cause.
What you see below is not yet written in stone and we will be meeting again soon to discuss this and get deeper into our mandate. All a part of the process to get us registered as a charity. We’d LOVE some feedback so please feel free to ask questions and/or offer suggestions.
“To reduce the socio-economic impact of childhood sexual abuse on individuals and communities”
We will accomplish this through:
• Empowering individuals to recognize, react and respond appropriately to childhood sexual abuse through the award winning ‘Stewards of Children’ program.
• Identifying and providing resources to adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse
• Providing programs specific to the needs of female survivors
